About Us

Our Mission

We want abortion to end. At Contraption TEA, we recognize that it will take a multi-faceted approach to achieve this. Many Pro-Life groups focus on legally restricting elective abortion, others offer crisis pregnancy support, while others’ primary mission is to educate and change minds. These are all crucial elements in ending abortion and have our full, enthusiastic support. Our goal at Contraception TEA is to complement the work of these other anti-abortion organizations by reducing crisis pregnancies through effective contraceptives, which reduces the number of abortions as a result.

Our Stances

Elective Abortion should be banned, Medically Necessary Abortions should be legal. We do not have a specific stance on cases of rape or fetal anomaly.

We hold that contraception is crucial in stopping abortions, as there are some people who will break the law if they have a crisis pregnancy, and so prevention is necessary to fully address the issue.

Contraception is not an abortifacient, and labeling it as such is misleading.

Impoverished non-parents should have access to Medicaid in every state. This isn’t the case everywhere.

We are pro sex education in HS and college.

Current Projects

  • Advocating for Pro Lifer Centers to expand services to offer contraception.

  • Donating Over the Counter Birth Control Pills to Pro Life Centers (click here for more info).

  • Creating a fund to help pay for in need individuals’ birth control.

  • Advocating for changing Medicaid policy in many red states. People should not have to have children to qualify for Medicaid.
